Couples and families often struggle with effective communication skills as well as how to navigate the challenges of everyday life.
Dr. Miller works with adolescents who present with a broad range of problems including low self-esteem and attentional issues.
Dr. Miller utilizes primarily cognitive-behavioral therapy to help her clients achieve their goals and to develop a repertoire of tools.
Dr. Miller works collaboratively with parents to create individualized behaviorally-orientated interventions.
Dr. Miller has always guided her practice with the belief that it takes incredible courage to walk into a therapist’s office for the first time to conquer areas of distress and vulnerability. Dr. Miller uses primarily cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other empirically supported treatments to treat a variety of psychological issues. With compassion and validation, Dr. Miller supports her clients while they make changes necessary to achieve their goals. Each client leaves therapy with an “individualized tool box” of strategies and techniques useful for the rest of their lives.
Dr. Miller’s private practice is centrally located in White Plains, NY, in Westchester County. She is an out-of–network provider for eligible insurance reimbursement. If you would like to speak to Dr. Miller, please contact her office now.
